COEUR D’ALENE, ID (TruckingNewsNow.com) (Source: Idaho State Police) — On April 10, 2019 at approximately 12:22 p.m. an injury semi-truck crash occurred on I90 near milepost 26 on 4th of JulyPass.

A red 2017 Volvo Tractor pulling a 2019 Wabash trailer driven by Feliks Giterman, 43, of Brooklyn, NY was travelling westbound on the west side of 4th of July Pass at a high rate of speed. Giterman lost control on a curve and the truck and trailer overturned on to its right side.

The vehicle slide off the road on the north shoulder, went through the raised concrete jersey barriers, and came to rest on the embankment over the creek at the roadside. Giterman was extricated and transported to Kootenai Health with non-life threatening injuries.

He was wearing his seatbelt. Giterman was cited for reckless driving. One westbound lane was blocked for approximately 3.5 hours. Both lanes were blocked for recovery of the tractor and trailer for approximately 25 minutes.
