RICHMOND, VA (TruckingNewsNow.com) (Source: ESTES) — Estes was awarded the 2018 Multi-Regional LTL Award at the Unishippers 2019 Annual Convention & Sales Meeting in San Diego in January. Estes is also a previous recipient of Unishippers’ Global Logistics LTL Platinum Partner of the Year Award.

Rachel Calleja, Unishippers’ operations manager, said that Estes was chosen based on franchise system survey results that rated responsiveness, claims resolution, minimal loss and damage events, meeting pickup/delivery expectations, and the carrier’s importance to Unishippers’ carrier and service offerings.

“Estes rated especially high on ‘importance to Unishippers carrier/service offerings,’ with 74 percent of respondents rating Estes as ‘Exceptional’ or ‘Good’ (the two highest ratings),” she said.
